Self-Reg is a powerful method for understanding stress and managing our energy flow in order to promote self-regulation. Self-Reg was created by Dr. Stuart Shanker and is based in science. Self-Regulation refers to how people manage energy. It is how people use or expend their energy and how they recover and restore their energy. This webinar will examine what stress really is, and what is happening in the brain when we experience stress. It will also take you through a snapshot of the 5 Stages of Self-Reg and the 5 different domains where we experience stress. Everyone experiences stress, and Self-Reg offers a process for each person to become more aware of their and others stress and stress reduction strategies to promote resiliency and restoration.”
